FORGIVEN KIDS OF AFRICA IS AN ORGANISATION IN UGANDA EAST AFRICA WITH A PROGRAM OF TAKING CARE OF ORPHANS AND NEEDY CHILDREN.
OUR MOTTO IS: HELP AN ORPHAN & SAVE A LIFE.
WHAT WE DO:
1- WE TAKE CARE OF 500KIDS IN 4 DIFFERENT CENTRES, THRU CHILD SPONSORSHIP FOR EDUCATION, PROVIDING SCHOLASTIC MATERIALS, FOOD, WATER, SHELTER, CLOTHING AND MEDICATION.
2- WE ARE INVOLVED IN A COMMUNITY PROJECTS ie COMMUNITY HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION IN KAYUNGA, WATER PROJECT IN BUGIRI , BUILDING A SCHOOL FOR ORPHANS IN KAYUNGA.
3- WE ARE ALSO INVOLVED IN THE PROGRAM OF RENOVATING THE 4ORPHANS CENTRE. SO FAR WE HAVE FINISHED BUGIRI AND WE NEED TO WORK ON THE REST.
4- WE TEACH THE CHILDREN HOW TO DO ART&CRAFTS, MUSIC, DANCE &DRAMMER.
5- WE DISTRIBUTE MOSQUITO NETS TO THE CHILDREN AND POOR COMMUNITIES. SO FAR WE HAVE GIVEN OUT 700NETS AND WE NEED TO GIVE MORE 500NETS THIS SEASON AND OUR ALTIMATE TARGET IS 4000NETS COUNTRYWIDE.
WHAT WE NEED:
1- WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO COME AND TEACH, WORK IN COMMUNITY HOSPITAL &ORPHANS SCHOOL. IN THE PERIOD CONVINIENT TO THEM.
2- WE NEED HELP TO FINISH ORPHANS SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY HOSPITAL.
3- TO CONTINUE WITH THE PROGRAM OF MOSQUITO NET DISTRIBUTION.
4- TO SPONSOR ONE CHILD AT A TIME ON MONTHLY BASIS.
SPONSOR A CHILD WITH US $25 PER MONTH
5- CONSTRUCT BOREHOLE, TAP WATER AND PROTECT AVAILABLE WELLS.
At present, there are nearly 2 million HIV/Aids orphans in Uganda. The average Ugandan family has 7 children.
Due to the suffering of the African child, God led us to start the Forgiven Kids of Africa, To address the needs of the orphans.
Our Ministry relies solely on donations and contributions to fund the construction of the children homes. It costs about $30,000 to complete an orphan home for 80-100 children, including beds, latrine, and kitchen. We are presently involved with approximately 4 projects throughout Uganda, (Bugiri, Kayunga, Kampala, Mbale) and are planning many more. Kampala centre is going to be the Head Quarters for our orphanage program is inuganda when finished to construct.
We attempt to remain flexible so we can best meet the needs of the orphans in each unique situation.
